Good Times Announces Online Video Services for the Hospitality Industry


Good Times, a charity focused privileges program in Hong Kong, officially announced this week a partnership with alternative marketing company Prosperity Research. The two companies will be cooperating produce, Host and distribute promotional videos for Hong Kong restaurants and health and beauty spas. Good Times plans to feature the videos in an online restaurant and spa database that it is currently developing.

Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., November 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Good Times, a charity-focused lifestyle privilege program based in Hong Kong, officially announced this week a partnership with alternative marketing company Prosperity Research to produce and distribute online videos for the hospitality industry in Hong Kong. The online videos will be used by local restaurants, bars, and spas in their internet marketing campaigns, and are part of a broader push by both companies to expand their product offerings in hospitality and online promotion.

“Everyone we talk to is excited about this. With consumption of online video consumption exploding, adding online video to a restaurant’s marketing plan is a no-brainer,” said Good Times founder Josh Ziegler at his office in Sheung Wan. “There is so much more to a restaurant than what is listed on the menu. The environment is half of the dining experience. While simple text and pictures are limited in describing the atmosphere and ambiance, video does a spectacular job at getting the point across.”

The two companies will work with restaurants, bars and spas to produce and upload short 1-2 minute videos, to such sites as YouTube and SO-U.TV. Clients will also be offered assistance with larger scale distribution through blogs and forums, and with the development of innovative social marketing campaigns involving social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. The videos will also be part of an online database of restaurants and spas that Good Times is planning to launch in the near future.
