)-- Handpicked by Breast Cancer survivor Deanna Favre, wife of Quarterback Brett Favre, fellow Mississippian Laura Schmelzer James of Laura James Jewelry was chosen to handcraft the charm necklace sold exclusively at DeannaFavre4Hope.com and LauraJamesJewelry.com.
"I am thrilled to be involved in such a necessary organization as is The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, said James. "Deanna has an enormous heart that she has opened up to those without the means to afford proper treatment for Breast Cancer. The opportunity to create jewelry to help others is one of the main perks of being a jewelry designer and I look forward to expanding on this concept in the future. Giving back is not only our responsibility, it is our legacy."
The HOPE necklace collaboration between James and Favre produced a sterling silver rolo chain with a cluster of three charms dangling from the eighteen inch length. Hand stamped into a brass coin is the word "Hope" and stamped into a silver smaller coin is the letter "4". A fourteen karat goldfilled cross hangs in front.
Laura James Jewelry is hand crafted solely by native Mississippian Laura Schmelzer James and has been showcased in multiple media outlets including Lucky Magazine, Gossip Girl television series, two upcoming films, and an appearance on The Today Show.
