Lisa Tse was approached to come up with a cutting-edge brand identity and packaging to carry off this unique idea for a bottled water.
The brand identity features a bright orange and white typeface that projects a vivid and bold presence. The graphic style features a cityscape that is outlined by a water pipe.
For the packaging, Lisa Tse Ltd designed a clear bottle to highlight and celebrate the merits of the water in its own right, whilst still conveying the client's wish to portray a brand which is "sophisticated and rebellious".
The bottle design is bright and bold, whilst maintaining a clean and contemporary feel.
Each bottle features a large statement on the back that captures the spirit of the TAP'D NY brand, including phrases such as "Water without the funny accent" and "No glaciers were harmed making this water".
The packaging was designed for strong shelf impact and a recognizable identity amongst many existing bottle brands.
With New York reputed to have the world's best tasting tap water even winning taste tests, Tap'd NY simply purifies it through reverse osmosis and bottles it locally, leaving out the environmental footprint that is usually involved in the transportation of imported bottled water.
