Harrogate International Center Power Digital Signage and Live Video at the CIPD Annual Conference with Digital Media Projects

Leeds, United Kingdom, November 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Harrogate International Centre Focuses On Digital Media Projects For Major Conference.

A Leeds company has showcased its hi-tech products at one of Harrogate’s most high profile conferences.

Staff at the town’s International Centre called upon the expertise and services of Garforth-based Digital Media Projects to provide live video and digital signage for the two-day Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) conference.

The Harrogate International team used DMP’s Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) system to broadcast pre-recorded and live show content on screens located in key areas around the exhibition halls and conference centre.

The firm’s revolutionary system has the ability to broadcast multiple live feeds from a key note speech or presentation around the site in real time.

Harrogate International Centre’s ICT manager Kevin Mchugh said: “We needed a system that would allow us to distribute high quality TV, video, promotional material and digital signage around the venue quickly and easily. The DMP system fitted our requirements exactly.”

He added: “It's easy to work with, easy to customise, and because it uses IP we were able to deploy it using the existing Cisco data network which saved us a significant amount in cabling costs.

“The system has met our needs totally and the support we received from DMP has been fantastic.”

Nicholas Fearnley, DMP managing director said: “This is a ringing endorsement of our system and I’m delighted the Harrogate team chose us, a Yorkshire company, to take care of their broadcasting needs.

“Hopefully this will be the start of a lasting relationship with the Harrogate International Centre team and one that will open the doors for us in conference and events centres around the country.”
