Free Education for Unemployed Treasure Valley, Idaho Residents

During the week of December 8-12, 2008 ExecuTrain of Idaho will be hosting free hands-on educational sessions on a variety of computer and business skills topics for Treasure Valley residents that have been laid off this year.

During the week of December 8-12, 2008 ExecuTrain of Idaho will be hosting free hands-on educational sessions on a variety of computer and business skills topics for Treasure Valley residents that have been laid off this year.

Treasure Valley business and IT professionals, who are seeking information to sharpen and refine their skills, will want to attend the 2008 Employable Training Benefit.

These free sessions are open to all Treasure Valley residents that have been laid off from their jobs and are currently searching for employment. Participants can choose the class format and topic based on the above schedule. In addition to the training, information from several local businesses on desired skills and potential employment opportunities will be available. Also in the spirit of the holiday season, local donations from Idaho businesses and training partners will be given away throughout the week. No sales pitches will take place at the event. There will be an opportunity for attendees to schedule a subsequent private consultation.

Attendees must pre-register no later than 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008 to attend the sessions as space is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sessions will be held at ExecuTrain of Idaho’s Boise facility at 10051 W. Emerald Street, Suite 120, Boise, Idaho 83704.

By attending this event, attendees will gain a better understanding of: 1) Specific technology skills; 2) What skills area businesses are looking for; and 3) Tools that can assist attendees in locating employment.
