BeTuitive Publishing Launches New Web Site — Two Years in the Making

Custom publisher releases new site design.

Chicago, IL, November 26, 2008 --( After two long years, BeTuitive Publishing is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned Web site [].

Designer Joanna McKeon speculates that the process was drawn out by conflicts of genius. “It was a battle of creative vision and personal aesthetics,” she says. “It took a while to consolidate all of our Amazing ideas. Plus, we have client work.”

The new site is centered on a Rubik’s cube motif, and features a Flash portfolio, case studies, awards and more.

When asked how she came up with the Rubik’s cube concept, McKeon says, “I was thinking about our color palette. We had decided to go with a modern take on primary colors. I already had puzzle pieces in mind because I wanted to convey the ideas of solutions, results, and putting the pieces together. Those ideas coupled with the palette led me to the Rubik’s cube. I like it because it’s more fun than boring puzzle pieces, and it’s 3-D and interactive. It represents the multi-layered complex projects BeTuitive loves to tackle.”

Earlier conceptual ideas include a light bulb and progressive circles and squares. However, the team agreed all along on one thing: They wanted the design to be borderless and clean. “It’s a big change from our site before, which had information coming at you in every square inch,” says McKeon.

The road may have been long, but the whole team at BeTuitive is happy with the finished product. “I can’t believe it’s finally done!” exclaims company owner Todd Smart.
