Great Lakes Recycling, a Roseville, Michigan-based recycling company, is proud to announce that they recently opened a new facility in Flint, Michigan in the fall of 2008. The facility, located at 2051 Bristol Road in Flint Township, with plans to employ 10 people by next summer. GLR of Flint processes cardboard and paper brought in from waste haulers, recyclers, and shred companies. Future plans for the site include expanding capabilities to process additional materials that will be open to the public. “Changing industry dynamics including our efforts to reduce emissions have encouraged us to move closer to areas where we can be of better service to our customers,” said Ilene Bischer, partner, GLR.
