MoneyTree GEW Entrepreneurship Challenge 2008. MoneyTree Kids Win Entrepreneur Challenge.

In conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 17th – 23rd, 2008), MoneyTree organized an Entrepreneurship Challenge whereby teams raced and competed against each other in various business events to see how they fared on an overall basis.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, December 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- They did it again. Money Tree kids have again proven that age is no barrier when it comes to winning a business challenge. With an average age of 16, Team A, comprising of Cherish Lo (18), Rachel Ho (16) and Isaac Tan (13) have emerged champion of the challenge, beating their peers who were much older.

Over the last five days, teams from Open University Malaysia, Taylor’s University College and Money Tree have been participating in the GEW-Money Tree Entrepreneurship Challenge. The challenge spans over five days, which saw the teams pitting their wits and skills at the different tasks prepared by the sponsors.

Teams were constantly being tested on the different aspects of Entrepreneurship in each of the legs and at the end of each leg; two teams with the lowest scores were eliminated.

After 3 challenging days, 5 teams made it into the finals. Of the five finalists, four were from Taylor’s University College with the remaining team from Money Tree.

In the finals, which was held at PWTC in conjunction with the GoMobile 08 Expo, the top 5 teams were tested on their ability to plan and execute marketing strategies that will drive customers to the Money Tree booth. In the end, Team A from Money Tree proved their mettle when they beat the other finalists to emerge as the overall winner of the race.
