Porsche World is Wowed by Porscheophile.com

Ann Arbor, MI, December 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The world economy may be in turmoil, but that doesn't stop people everywhere from dreaming powerful, Porsche-sized dreams.

Just a month after it began, Porscheophile.com-- the All-Things-Porsche blog -- has developed a loyal following among hundreds of car lovers in almost every state of the union and on every continent but Antarctica.

"People are reading us in China, most of Western Europe, in South Africa, the Phillipines, Japan and Malaysia," said Rick Ratliff, the Ann Arbor-based interactive media consultant who created the blog.

"It is encouraging to see how many people keep coming back day after day and, in lots of cases, several times a day," Ratliff added. " Each person is looking at more than two pages of the blog and spending a couple of minutes or more on a typical visit."

Ratliff, who himself owns a Boxster S, said he limits the site's offerings to "the legends, the lore, the beauty, and the fun of all things Porsche."

"Somehow, linking to an annual report, publishing monthly production statistics, or discussing hedge funds doesn't fit my vision of the blog," he said. "The readers seem to agree."
