)-- The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is proud to announce Lewis student Marcia Campbell won NSCS’ 2008 Holiday Card Contest. NSCS will send the card featuring her design to NSCS’ partners and vendors, as well as electronically to its half-a-million members.
NSCS members voted for the winning card in an online poll. Campbell’s card won more than 39 percent of the 4483 votes cast.
Campbell is a member of the class of 2010 and is majoring in criminal justice. As a non-traditional student, Campbell works for the Chicago Police department where she writes and designs marketing materials.
NSCS held its first holiday card contest in 2003.
“Marcia’s card truly represents the spirit of the holidays,” NSCS’ Executive Director Stephen E. Loflin said. “The NSCS Holiday Card Contest is another unique opportunity to highlight the talent and creativity of our members.”
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation’s only interdisciplinary honors organization to invite first- and second-year college students.
