Anger Management Guru to Train Fifty Medical Directors in Emotional Intelligence

Efforts are being made by the leading provider of Executive Coaching/Anger Management for Physicians to help hospitals accross the nation meet the standards of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). An organizational Training will be given in mid December to fifty medical directors at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

Los Angeles, CA, December 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Kaiser Permanente of Los Angeles (the Los Angeles Medical Center) has contracted with George Anderson, BCD, Director of Anderson & Anderson, A.P.C., to provide a four-hour organizational training Course on Emotional Intelligence, with a focus on Leadership for Change. Mr. Anderson will be assisted in this training by Dr. Thomas Wentz, who is a member of the Anderson & Anderson Training Faculty.

This training will occur on December 15, 2008. Each of the participants will receive a copy of the new Anderson & Anderson book, The Practice of Control, which is the Executive Coaching/Anger Management client book for Physicians. Anderson & Anderson currently provides Executive Coaching/Anger Management for physicians from Kaiser Permanente hospitals in all of Southern California.They are in the planning stages of another Organizational Anger Management training that will be given at Kaiser Fontana for 15 Orthopaedic Surgeons, 13 Physician Assistants and 10 Podiatrists.

Other National Hospital Chains nationwide are contracting with Anderson & Anderson for Organizational Anger Management training as a proactive strategy to meet the new JCAHO “disruptive physician” standards.

Anderson & Anderson appears to be taking proactive steps in addressing the issue of disruptive behavior among physicians. In addition to providing Executive Coaching/Anger Management for physicians from various hospitals across the nation, George Anderson and his staff are working with physician wellbeing committees (at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles) to address the leadership skills of medical directors and improve the level of communication that exists between doctors and their medical staff members.

Future Anderson & Anderson organizational training will be marketed to new physicians as a proactive measure to avoid a hostile work environment.
