Prudential Homesale Services Group Helps Lancaster County Families During the Holidays

Lancaster, PA, December 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Since 1995, the agents and staff of Prudential Homesale Services Group have helped local children through Toys for Tots. Prudential Homesale has collection boxes at all of its Lancaster County locations, including Centerville Road, North Pointe Boulevard, Quarryville, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, and Mount Joy. Donations will be accepted through December 20th. The Marine Corps will assist in distribution of the toys.

In addition to Toys for Tots, Prudential Homesale is participating in the Salvation Army Coats for Kids Drive sponsored by WGAL. For the 12th year in a row, Homesale will donate $2,500 to the cause and will staff phone lines from 1-2 pm during the December 12th telethon. If you are able to donate a coat to help keep a child warm this season, drop off your new or gently used coat at any participating local dry cleaners.

“As a member of the Community Service Projects Committee for Prudential Homesale Services Group, I think it is so important that we give back to our community,” said Mary White, REALTOR. “We need to do all that we can for our youth -- they are our future.”

Homesale is also participating in a Gift Tree this year. Each of Prudential Homesale’s Lancaster County locations has names of children whose holiday happiness relies on the program. Those interested in bringing a smile to a child’s face this year can purchase and wrap a gift and drop it off to the donation location.
