Mini-Courses Begin at Extra Bold Portfolio School in January

Madison, WI, December 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- “No Experience Necessary” mini-courses at Madison’s Extra Bold Portfolio School will begin in January, 2009. The school offers two 10-week courses – one for production and one for creative concepting. Extra Bold also offers a 12-week course for account service training. There are no prerequisites or experience needed to take these classes. Meetings are on Wednesday evenings and enrollment costs only $500, with payment plans available.

During each class period, students are assigned a client and given an assignment to prepare. After working on the assignment, students present their ideas to the class and receive feedback from teachers and other students.

Each week, students work on a different client; upon completion all students will have at least 10 solid ideas, and a strong start on a portfolio. Possible follow-up classes include an advanced mini-course and one-year programs.

Extra Bold Portfolio School began in 2006 and has graduated two classes. They've placed graduates in jobs in Milwaukee and Chicago, and have helped students get internships in Madison and Minneapolis.
