)-- As co-owner of an ActionCOACH business coaching firm in Miami, Florida, Mr. Barra has been helping the owners of small and medium sized businesses in the key areas of time, team, money and marketing.
Having recently acquired the executive coaching certification from ActionCOACH – the world’s leader in business coaching – Mr. Barra has stepped up his coaching business as part of the company’s first executive coaching training class for North America.
“I think Executive Coaching is a natural expansion for our business,” he said.
Mr. Barra feels that an outsider’s vision is critical in today’s fast-paced world of business.
“If you are not growing, you are dying, and the only way you can continue to grow is with the help of others,” he said. “It’s always best to have the vision of an outsider and Executive Coaches bring just that.”
Mr. Barra believes executive coaching can greatly enhance and improve business performance.
“For executive coaching the scope of influence is larger,” he said. “There are many more tools that come into play for executive coaching that can positively impact an organization and career.”
As part of his strategic plan, Mr. Barra will be targeting opportunities in the medical and financial markets. Eventually, along with his team, he will venture into multinational corporations with head offices in Miami.
Mr. Barra believes that as the leader in the category, ActionCOACH’s diversification into executive coaching will be nothing short of “explosive.”
“I only hope enough of our exceptional coaches see the opportunity and get onto the team so we can support the incredible growth we are about to experience,” he said.
Recipient of the ActionMAN award along with wife and business partner in their first year as Business Coaches, Mr. Barra was also named finalist for the Associate Coach of the Year and Most Improved Coach of the Year awards.
