P. Brian See Joins Williams Mullen as Chair of Electronic Discovery and Litigation Technology Practice

Richmond, VA, December 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Williams Mullen announces that P. Brian See has joined the firm as a partner and chair of the Electronic Discovery and Litigation Technology practice group. Mr. See advises Williams Mullen attorneys and clients on issues relating to electronic records retention and the identification, preservation, collection, review and production of electronically stored information. Mr. See has spent his professional career bridging the gap between law and technology. Since 2006, he has devoted his entire practice to electronic discovery and high technology issues.

Mr. See has counseled clients in developing and implementing cost-effective and practical e-discovery strategies. He has litigated and negotiated e-discovery matters with federal and state regulators and civil litigants to resolve electronic discovery issues in large matters such as federal regulatory investigations, antitrust claims and multidistrict class actions. He has represented and provided electronic discovery advice to small and mid-sized businesses and individual litigants.

Mr. See has also assisted clients in developing and implementing e-document policies allowing for practical and consistent responses to ongoing electronic document preservation and production obligations. Additionally, Mr. See has counseled clients in developing and implementing records retention systems and documenting privacy policies and practices.

As an experienced litigator, Mr. See has represented a variety of clients, including financial institutions, manufacturers, insurance brokers, biotechnology companies, real estate developers and retailers in matters involving fiduciary duty, trade secret misappropriation, construction, nuisance, consumer fraud and bankruptcy claims.

Mr. P. Brian See earned his law degree in 2000 from the Duke University School of Law where he received the Intellectual Property and Technology Award. He graduated in 1997 from Yale University. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Ohio.
