Parks & Recreation of Maywood, Illinois to Host its First Annual Summer Jump Off, June 30th

Maywood, IL, June 14, 2006 --(PR.com)-- June Price, Director of Maywood Parks & Recreation, for the Village of Maywood and Sabrina Childress-Miller, Founder of Position Of Pressure nfp, will host its first annual 2006 Summer Jump Off to create a renewed sense of awareness for the Parks & Recreation facility, located at 200 S. 5th Ave., Maywood, IL 60153.

On, June 30, 2006 from 5 pm until 11 pm (admission is FREE), this event will provide an opportunity for Maywood Parks & Recreation to showcase the buildings facilities and it programs to the entire Village of Maywood, while simultaneously creating a positive atmosphere of community unity, renewing the community’s faith in a better Village and promoting volunteerism.

“We are pleased to team up with the Village of Maywood Parks and Recreation,” Miller said.  “I encourage everyone, especially our youth, to join us at Parks & Recreation facility to celebrate community.”

“We are excited to be able to remind the community that we are here,” said Parks and Recreation Director June Price. “Maywood Parks and Recreation is honored to be able to provide such an extensive variety of programs and services. This event is one way we would like to say thank you for supporting us over the years.”
