Bridgton Academy Selects Campus Cafe to Unify Administrative Offices

Bridgton Academy selects Campus Cafe as its integrated student information system, allowing Admissions, Registrar, Residential Life, Conduct, Faculty, Grades, Student Billing, Accounting, Alumni Relations and Advancement to share the same database.

Needham, MA, December 31, 2008 --( SCAN, a leading provider of Student Information Systems, today announced the addition of Bridgton Academy to its list of Independent Schools using Campus Café.

“Bridgton Academy was facing issues that are all too common in the Independent School market,” said Joe Stefaniak, President of SCAN. “Many of these schools have different systems in Admissions, Student Services, the Business Office and Advancement. Very few have self-service portals for students and parents. Campus Café will provide a single database architecture for all of these offices.”

“After a thorough review of our internal processes it was clear that Bridgton Academy needed an administrative system that would truly unify our campus,” says Grady Vigneault, Headmaster at Bridgton Academy. “Campus Café will enable us to eliminate countless hours of manual tasks and focus our efforts on the continual commitment of improving the student experience.”

The implementation project will begin in the Admissions office. Online inquiries and applications for Fall 2009 will start flowing into Campus Café in January. Automated Communication Plans will provide an immediate payback for Bridgton’s recruiting efforts.
