Thumbuddy Club for Preschoolers Coming to Northwestern Book Store in Maple Grove, MN

Burnsville, MN, January 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Early Childhood Educator, Kelly Olson, will launch Thumbuddy Club at two preschool events to be held at Northwestern Book Store, 12985 Elm Creek Blvd. N., Maple Grove, MN on January 19th and 22nd from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Thumbuddy Club consists of crafts, music, activities and take home bags. Seven Thumbuddy Club events have been developed - one to go along with each book in the Thumbuddy children’s book series. Each Thumbuddy Club event is designed to take one hour.

Thumbuddy Club, designed by a preschool curriculum expert based on the Thumbuddy children’s book series, builds self worth as it encourages children to embrace their uniqueness, stand out and leave their one-of-a-kind imprint in the world. The Thumbuddy character communicates the message that just like your thumb leaves a one-of-a-kind thumbprint, your life leaves a one-of-a-kind imprint in the world. And just as your thumb stands out from your fingers, you were meant to stand out and live an outstanding life.

“Our goal was to develop fun activities for children with a positive and encouraging message that was simple to facilitate. We’ve tried to think of everything - keeping the preschool leader’s preparation and planning time down to a minimum. It’s perfect for before or after school programs, homeschooling groups, summer programs, daycares, play groups, libraries or church programs. We’ve created two children’s book clubs - Thumbuddy Club and Thumbuddy Club for My Church making Thumbuddy Club suitable for any environment.” According to ThumbPeople spokesperson, Cathy Kirschner.
