Pro Novelist is an online writing environment and community for professional novelists and script writers.

The web service is free to use and includes a number of features, for example an online word processor which has been adapted for novelists and script writers.

Pro Novelist includes automatic backup on a daily basis so authors don't lose their books in a hard disk crash. There's no need to install any software - everything runs in the browser - authors may log in anywhere to work on their books. Pro Novelist includes wizards to work on characters, the plot and other aspects of the book. There's a scene editor where scenes can be edited. Users may share templates in the community. Each author has his or her own blog page.
