Payroll employment continued the declines of 533,000 in November, 320,000 in October and 403,000 in September as revised and totaled 1.9 million over the last four months of 2008. The goal is to spark new conversation around the topic of the economy and its impact on the matter of employment by engaging online users and reminding them to keep a positive state of mind. Profiles also aims to make its expertise widely available to the public through the contact link featured on the video.

The recent unemployment figures make it clear that this is the time to offer employers and employees useful guidance,” Sirbasku said. “With unemployment still growing, we felt that it was important to let the public know that our experts are available to them for initial consultation at no cost to assist them and help them navigate safely and securely through the first quarter of 2009, which will be definitive in changing the course of our economy.”
