Kathryn McHenry Named Among the "Best and Brightest" Young Female Achievers in North America

Kathryn McHenry recognized as an international "Emerging Leader" finalist; wins scholarship; will be recognized at eWomenNetwork's International Conference in Dallas on July 13

Orlando, FL, June 20, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Local businesswoman Kathryn McHenry was recognized by eWomenNetwork
(www.eWomenNetwork.com), the fastest growing membership-based women's business network in North America, as an "Emerging Leader" finalist. This international recognition came as a result of other businesswomen in Orlando nominating her for this award in recognition of her outstanding leadership abilities, accomplishments and commitment to serving others.

Kathryn McHenry was selected to represent her community at the eWomenNetwork International Femtor Awards Gala during the 6th Annual International Conference and Business Expo in Dallas, July 13-16. She was chosen as one of only 24 international finalists from more than one thousand entries. As a result, she has won an all expense paid trip to Dallas and deluxe accommodations to attend the conference, a one-year membership to eWomenNetwork, and on-stage recognition in front of more than 2,000 international women business owners and professionals. If she is selected as the International "Emerging Leader of the Year," she will win a $15,000 award package, which includes cash, a technology grant, a showcase interview on ABC radio and other prizes.

"The Emerging Leader Femtor Award was established to recognize and encourage young businesswomen who give back to their communities and other women," said Sandra Yancey, Founder and CEO of eWomenNetwork Inc. and the author of the recently released book Relationship Networking: The Art of Turning Contacts into Connections.

"We call them 'Femtors' because they help other women succeed and thrive by investing their knowledge, skills, time, resources and insights. 'Femtoring' is the art and compassion of a woman helping another woman succeed and achieve her dreams," she added. "At only 29 years of age, Kathryn McHenry has already developed an exemplary track record of leadership, achievement and service."

The eWomenNetwork International Femtor Awards encompass awards in four categories: "Business Matchmaker of the Year," "Businesswoman of the Year," "Emerging Leader of the Year," and "Humanitarian of the Year." The awards are presented by the eWomenNetwork Foundation on the first night of the eWomenNetwork International Conference in a gala event attended by approximately 2000 businesswomen and the media. "Emerging Leaders" must be between the ages of 20 and 29. They are women who inspire others, are respected by their peers and who volunteer time and energy to serve others less fortunate than themselves.
