ORHP Sales Team Brightens Holidays for Three Las Vegas Families

San Ramon, CA, January 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ‘Tis the season. . .to be “People Helping People!”

Rather than doing a traditional gift exchange this holiday season, Old Republic Home Protection’s Central Southwest Sales Team, the “Southwest Superstars,” showed their holiday spirit by contributing the money they would have spent on gifts for each other to local families in need. The Southwest Superstars (ten Account Executives in the states of Arizona, Nevada and Utah) were able to make a difference in the lives of three Las Vegas families with their contribution, and made a difference in their own lives by just being a part of the process.

Dirk Doud, District Sales Manager for the Team, said, “I want to thank the entire Team for being ‘People Helping People,’ and give special thanks to Francine Willis and Jenna Bohannan for their time and their commitment to heading up this project.”

Francine describes her experience in this way: “I would like to thank Dirk for allowing me take on this project, and I commend our fabulous team members for being who they are, and donating this money for the good of other people. I am pretty excited to tell you that with our donation we were able to help three very deserving Las Vegas families. It was wonderful to experience the true magic of giving as reflected in their eyes.”

Jenna Bohannan added, “I want to share the wonderful experience I had assisting our recipients in shopping for groceries and other necessities. Thanks to the unselfish giving of our team members who made the contributions, three deserving families had a much brighter holiday season, and they were all very grateful to the Southwest Superstars for their generosity.”

Doud concluded, “Thanks again to the Team for contributing this gift of charity! We are very fortunate to be working and healthy, and I’m very proud that all of you felt we should share our blessings this holiday season.”

The ORHP Central Southwest Team plans to continue the practice of being “People Helping People” in future holiday seasons, rotating the state or area from which the local families who benefit are chosen.
