New Product from Dias Infrared: High Temperature Pyrometers from 250 to 2500°c for the Metal Working Industry

Dias infrared from Dresden launched new pyrometer series "Pyrospot DS/DG 44" to the market. The main fields of applications of these pyrometers are tempering, annealing, welding and forging processes in the metal working industry.

Dresden, Germany, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- As useful addition to the already existing "Pyrospot" pyrometer series Dias Infrared, Dresden launched high temperature pyrometer series "Pyrospot DS/DG 44" to the market.

These pyrometer measure temperatures without contact in the near infrared spectrum already from 250°C and are also available in fibre optic versions. For this reason they are optimally qualified for the measurement of smooth metals under various conditions. Due to the short response time of 5 ms and the FOV of 200:1 they can be used for the measurement of smallest and moving objects.

Of course special models for special applications are available, e.g. appropriate optical filters and lenses are required for laser applications.

The main fields of applications of series "Pyrospot DS/DG 44" pyrometers with their robust stainless steel housings are tempering, annealing, welding and forging processes in the metal working industry. A focusable optics and the laser or LED targeting light make the instruments almost universally applicable.

The wide range of accessories enables the use of these remarkably compact pyrometers in many industrial areas.
