Animax Launches Division Dedicated to Health Sector

New Animax Health Division to Help Providers Better Serve Wellness Market.

Los Angeles, CA, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Animax, a leading creative agency with offices in Los Angeles, Toronto and Boston, announced today at the Health IT conference TEPR+, the launch of a new division dedicated to the wellness market: Animax Health. Animax Health will provide innovative technology coupled with engaging front-end design to change the way healthcare providers connect and communicate with their patients.

The new Animax Health division builds off of Animax’s award-winning history of producing interactive solutions for a diverse client roster, including health providers, health educators, pharmaceutical firms and non-profits.

To head up the new division, Animax turned to an experienced professional in the health market. Animax Health’s President, Mike Lesner, is a seasoned advertising and marketing executive who has worked with top global media companies including CBS Network TV, Young and Rubicam, McCann-Erickson, JWT and KPR and with health related clients and collaborators including McKesson, Amgen, HCFA, and Surgeon General C. Everett Koop. For five years he has served as a Board Member of Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business.

The launch of Animax Health comes on the heels of the recent announcement of the new Animax CEO, Corey V. Torrence, the former President of digital production innovator, Prodigious Worldwide, a Digitas/Publicis Company. Torrence has worked with healthcare clients for over 20 years providing strategy, systems integration and marketing communications services for both providers and pharmaceutical companies.
