IIMSAM Middle East Regional Director Congratulates Obama on His Inauguration

IIMSAM official said that the enthusiastic support demonstrated by the American people during Obama’s election reflects their desire to see the change. He further expressed the best wishes for Obama's health and happiness and for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the people of the United States.

Doha, Qatar, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud, Regional Director (Middle East) and Goodwill Ambassador for the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM), the Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, has congratulated Barak Obama for being 44th President of the United States of America expressing confidence that world will now feel a new change.

He hoped that under his presidency, new world order will attain new heights. He said that it was apparently witnessed how the world community has viewed Obama as the new US President while Obama’s inauguration was watched across the world.

In his press statement, Dr. Nasser Shahir Homoud said the Middle East has many expectations from the new president. He hoped that Obama will help efforts to ensure permanent peace in the region.

Dr. Naseer Homoud further said the swearing- in of Democrat Barack Obama as the US President will boost up bilateral and multilateral relationships amongst countries falling in the region.

IIMSAM official hoped that Obama will take all initiatives to strengthen and democratize United Nations. He called upon the International community to help IIMSAM to ensure hunger- free and malnutrition- free world.

At the occasion, IIMSAM official appealed to all Government, celebrities, NGOs and other organizations of the world to come forward with their active and sincere participations to implement UN objectives of solving human problems in all its types and manifestations.

He called upon the American community and all other members of UN and its all agencies to come out with revised plans and mechanism to deal with all emergent crises like human rights violation, poverty, hunger, malnutrition, global warming, epidemic, and food shortage among others.

He reiterates the world's biggest expectation from the new President is the revival of peace and prosperity across the globe.
