SAVOY Savory Seminars: Seeking Subject Matter Experts

Raleigh, NC, February 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SAVOY, North Raleigh’s affordable fine dining and upscale business lunch location, is putting a new spin on the educational lunch seminar. Usually the presenter has to find a restaurant to hold their event. In this case, the restaurant – SAVOY – is finding the presenters.

Beginning February 10th every Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:30, a dozen people have the opportunity to enjoy lunch and get a little education at the same time.

“I presented a Savory Seminar in December,” states Kate Leser, Image Consultant with A Distinctive Image. “It was a huge success. It sold out in 30 minutes and we had a great time and everyone learned how to maximize their holiday wardrobe.”

SAVOY Savory Seminars cover a broad range of topics from business, financial advice, presentation skills and leadership to parenting, stress reduction, diet and wellness, and computer technology. Each Savory Seminar will begin at 11:30, lunch will be served at noon and the presenter will have 40 minutes to provide their information. There will be no solicitation for business, no overhead projector, no PowerPoint presentation and separate checks. Easy and delicious.

The SAVOY Savory Seminar menu is designed for a “quick lunch” – two courses and coffee or tea for only $15 plus tax and gratuity.

“We are finding the subject matter experts,” states manager, Garland Swann. Our regular lunch clientele is excited about this new program. “We believe it adds a lot of value to our clients. They come in for lunch anyhow – why not educate or entertain them at the same time?”

Potential presenters should forward their ideas and credentials to the restaurant by email to jo@restaurantsavoy.com. A calendar of Savory Seminars will be posted on the website. Reservations are required for each seminar and may be made by calling the restaurant.

SAVOY is located at Greystone Village in North Raleigh and features modern American and European cuisine and a large wine list. The menu is designed as a multi-course experience influenced by seasonal availability. Breads and desserts are made daily and the menu changes frequently. Owners are French-trained chef brothers Peter Gibson and Marshall Smith.

The restaurant is completely smoke-free and offers private dining options as well as romantic evening packages. SAVOY combines both casual dining and formal elegance. For more information or to make reservations, call (919) 848-3535 or visit www.restaurantsavoy.com
