ADG Creative Named One of Baltimore Magazine's 'Best Places to Work'

Columbia, MD, February 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Looking for a really good job? You may want to start in Columbia, Maryland where ADG Creative has just been named one of Baltimore Magazine’s “Best Places to Work.”

“We’ve won a lot of awards over the years,” said Jeff Antkowiak, Chief Creative Officer. “Emmys and Addys, a bunch of things. But this ranks right up there with the most satisfying.”

Christina Antoniades, the Baltimore Magazine reporter who wrote the story, said ADG distinguished itself in several ways: “The first thing that drew me to the company was the space,” she said. “It’s just a really nice creative, energetic, exciting, workspace, which was unexpected given where it is (in an office park). And it’s important, too, given the type of work (ADG does). A lot of the ‘Best Places to Work’ companies are in fields where long or unpredictable hours are the norm, so the physical workspace is important.”

Antoniades also cited ADG’s “environment of collaboration” and “teamwork” as other reasons for its selection.

Baltimore Magazine made its selections after starting with “a very wide net.” Recruiters, business development experts, business leaders, and employees are all queried before that list is narrowed down to 75 companies. Later the list is paired to 35 or 40 before the final companies are chosen.

“It’s competitive,” Antoniades said. “Especially so since the finalists had to be financially stable and hiring!”

The story appears in Baltimore Magazine’s February 2009 issue.

“It’s good to know that we are providing a strong and even progressive company for our staff ,” Antkowiak said. “There are a lot of good things that can be said about a successful company,” Antkowiak said. “But being called a good place for workers, in my book that’s at the top of the list.”
