Linkman® Reports 40% of Sales Made to Women Who Quit Smoking with Partners

Linkman® announced results of their January 2009 sales data: 40% of sales were made to women who purchased two Linkman units with the intention of quitting smoking with their spouse, partner or friend.

Raleigh, NC, February 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Linkman, Inc., manufacturer of their exclusive, patented, smoking-cessation device Linkman®, today announced results of their January 2009 sales data: 40% of sales were made to women who purchased two Linkman units with the intention of quitting smoking with their spouse, partner or friend.

“We find the sales data especially interesting with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. While we realize quitting smoking may not be as romantic as a candlelit dinner – it is something that will last well after the candles go out. In our current economy, it will put money back into the household pocket book - for a couple that smokes it could mean saving upwards of $3,650 a year.” said JB Snyder, President and Inventor, Linkman, Inc.

Linkman is a permission-based, smoking-cessation device that gently weans you off cigarettes - naturally - without prescription drugs or over-the-counter nicotine replacement products like the patch, gum or lozenges. Plus, over time, Linkman guides users into “taking ownership of the process” by breaking both the emotional and behavioral associations they have with smoking.

Linkman is a small cylindrical shaped device measuring 3/8” x 2 1/4” with a light at one end and an eyehook on the other. Users engage Linkman by double-clicking the light. A green light gives the user permission to smoke; a red light means they have to wait. The eyehook on the opposite end makes it easy to attach to a keychain or lanyard. Linkman is made in the U.S.A., fabricated from heavy-gauge aluminum and encases a microcomputer chip. Linkman offers quit plans in one, three or six months.
