Check Cashing Multi-function ATM Coming to Phoenix Market
Phoenix, AZ, May 06, 2005 --(PR.com)-- The World is Mine Corporation announces it has formed an alliance with AmStar Systems, Inc., a Texas manufacturer, to bring AmStar’s new check cashing multi-function ATM to the Phoenix market.
Sergio Ordaz, Chief Executive Officer for The World is Mine Corporation, a kiosk sales and management company, said “…the AmStar eca$hier® financial services kiosk has been designed to totally eliminate the need for a back room office to handle customer identification and the check approval process.” AmStar has designed a self-service terminal that uses a PIN based prepaid debit card to identify the check-cashing customer.
To obtain the debit card for check cashing, the customer must answer questions on the user-friendly eca$hier® screen for I.D. verification and an OFAC scan as required by the Patriot Act. If the customer is approved, the machine dispenses the PIN based debit card and the customer can continue with the check cashing process.
Sergio explained that the customer has the option of receiving all or part of his check in cash or he can load it onto the debit card, which can then be used at millions of locations to purchase goods and services. This latter option offers security to the person who otherwise might have to carry large sums of cash to pay for groceries, gas, clothes, etc.
In addition to cashing a check, the customer can have the added convenience of sending a money transfer or purchasing money orders while at the eca$hier® financial services kiosk.
