The Sagemont School’s Girl Scouts Making a Difference

The Sagemont elementary school girls in Broward County’s, troop 10916, turned their annual cookie sale into a community service project

Weston, FL, February 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Sagemont elementary Girl Scout Troupe encouraged their customers to donate a box or two of cookies to the children and their families going through cancer treatment. The scouts along with their troop leaders Julie Schear and Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz are to be commended for demonstrating the importance of giving to others.

More than 200 boxes of cookies will be delivered to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center within the next few weeks by these amazing young students. This is part of The Sagemont School’s commitment to its Kids Helping Kids Foundation which was formed this year. Together we can all make a difference.

The Sagemont School is a Private pre-kindergarten through 12th grade school and camp. The Sagemont School operates two campuses in Weston.
