City of Raleigh Proclaims Feb. 16 Biotechnology Day in Honor of CED’s Biotech 2009

Research Triangle Park, NC, February 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Joan Siefert Rose, president of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) (www.cednc.org), a private, nonprofit organization that promotes entrepreneurial efforts in the Triangle region of North Carolina, has announced that the City of Raleigh has issued a proclamation dedicating Monday, Feb. 16 as Biotechnology Day to honor CED’s Biotech 2009 conference, scheduled for Feb. 16 and 17 at the Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 S. Salisbury St.

The Raleigh City Council and Mayor Charles Meeker presented the proclamation to Rose and CED director of development Stephanie Dorko Austin at the Council’s Feb. 3 meeting.
