VACO Raleigh Names Director of VACO Design & Media

Rhode, managing partner of VACO Raleigh (www.vaco.com), an executive placement and consulting firm specializing in the fields of accounting and finance, information technology, operations and executive search, has announced that Troy Knight has joined the firm as director of VACO Design & Media, a new division of VACO Raleigh specializing in supplying professionals for the design, eLearning, gaming and media industries. Knight brings more than 13 years of experience in these fields to VACO and has been a key player in the implementation and development of this division.
With more than 13 years of experience in the design, gaming, eLearning and media fields, Knight has served as president of Bluemoon Design, Inc. and most recently worked as the director of global production and U.S. operations for Micor Solutions, where he oversaw project managers, instructional designers, designers, developers and quality assurance resources and contract personnel. He was responsible for software production workflow, timelines, design and development processes, resource management, vendor management and division budget. Knight has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an associate degree in both architecture and mechanical drafting. Originally from Cary, he resides in Raleigh with his wife, Kristen, and son, Tyler.
