Parents of Troubled Teens Breathe a Sigh of Relief in Light of Better Financial Prospects

A Nevada boy's school is offering financial resources for parents with poor credit and limited abilities, in an effort to bring families back together.

Amargosa Valley, IL, February 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Horizon Academy, a market leading academic institution for adolescents with behavioral problems is proudly offering the parents of prospective students more affordable options this spring. The initiative will last a further ninety days, allowing more families with poor credit or limited financial resources to gain help from the academy. This help involves overcoming any behavioral hurdles they've come across and ultimately bringing families back together.

The decision to offer a discount on tuition fees, from $3,795 down to $3,395 comes after the Christmas season when it became evident that there were so many families that still needed help from the institution. In addition to that, the academy recently received a visit from Dr. Marcel Chappuis; a clinical psychologist specializing in education and nearly 30 years experience working with adolescents. Chappuis now recommends the school to his clients, having evaluated every student multiple times to measure their psychological progress.

“Dr. Chappuis's validation only emphasizes how proud we are of the students and teachers at Horizon Academy” says admission coordinator Holly Akermon, “His clinical findings prove that not only are students progressing, but our student population as a whole is measurably healthier across the spectrum of emotional and behavioral categories.”

Horizon Academy is a private specialty boarding school for boys in grades 7 to 12, accredited by Northwest Association. The school offers a complete course dedicated to SAT and ACT college preparation (with students beating the national average on those tests every time), regularly taking students from 0.00 GPA to the range of 2.5-3.5 GPA.

One of the US' finest schools for troubled teenagers is offering a ninety day $400 discount on their fees so that prospective parents with fewer financial resources or poor credit can also benefit from the help and education that it offers. Parents can see what previous and current students and their parents think of the institution at http://horizonacademy.net/testimonials.htm and look into having their family brought together by the staff at Horizon Academy starting this spring.
