Homes For Heroes Inc.

Helping homeless Veterans across Central Indiana

Indianapolis, IN, February 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Homes For Heroes Inc., founded in December 2008 by Jeffrey H Crist & D. Mark Hanley. Two Veterans passionate about helping other Veterans. There are approximately 3600 Veterans in Indiana that are homeless and 900 of those Veterans reside in Marion County, a Sad, but true fact. What ever the reasoning for a Veteran to find themselves homeless, the system has failed them. Homes For Heroes will not stand by and leave another Veteran out in the cold to fend for themselves. They are a Non-Profit Organization that takes pre-existing homes and renovates and furnishes them to house homeless Veterans. Right now, they rely on the Communities and the great citizens of Indiana to help them out. Jeff and Mark do 90% of the work themselves. They are looking for donations in the form of money, materials, furniture, and appliances. If you would prefer to donate other needed items, please visit their website at www.indyhfh.org. Any Veterans or citizens out there that wants to donate their time, please contact D. Mark Hanley @ 317-496-4589 or dhanley@indyhfh.org for information on current and future projects. If you have experience with grant writing, they need you!
