Gaylene Hughes Bags the Coaches Choice “NetworkCOACH” Award at the Asia Pacific Conference

ActionCOACH honors Business Coaches in Australia at the recently concluded Regional Conference.

Gold Coast, Australia, February 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ActionCOACH, the number one business and executive coaching firm in the world awarded Gaylene Hughes the Coaches Choice “NetworkCOACH” award at the recently concluded Asia Pacific Conference held at the Gold Coast International Hotel in Queensland’s stunning Gold Coast in Australia.

The finalists for this award included Agus Gunario, Gerard Liddy, Katherine Doe, Mark Blume and Terri Billington.

The founder and CEO of ActionCOACH, Brad Sugars presented this award.

“Gaylene has networked her way to success and has set a great example for fellow coaches to follow,” Sugars said.

Hughes helps the owners of small and medium sized businesses thrive and prosper from her ActionCOACH business coaching office in Wellington, New Zealand, and believes that there is no time like the present to begin building networks with business partners and clients – as well as continue to stay in touch with past contacts.

Energized by her latest achievement, Hughes believes many businesses that are struggling now reached this stage as a result of overlooking networking opportunities in the past.

“During my coaching interactions, I have discovered that many clients were largely ignorant about the statistic that 68% of the customers leave due to perceived indifference,” she said. “When times were good, they neglected to regularly get out there and determine what their clients were after and what was important to their business partners, so they ended up with troubled businesses when the economy turned around.”

Hughes believes that a sense of complacency made many business owners focus “in” their business when times were good.

“As a result, they did not focus on growing their business,” she said. “Today, particularly in these challenging times, there is an ever-growing need to be out and about in the market on an ongoing basis.”

Hughes said she will be very active in 2009 as she will be commencing the “Thrive or Survive” series of workshops which are very hands-on and focus on improving cashflow.

“It’s back to the business basics and improving that bottom-line. We’re going to be having some fun along the way too, as there’s too much doom and gloom out there at present,” she said.

“We’ve also got a powerful GrowthCLUB planned for March 11th with a special guest – Hamish Carter, who won a Gold Medal for NZ at the Athens Olympics. He’s a very laid-back presenter with a powerful story and will be focusing on the power of goals and focus.”

Hughes believes that ActionCOACH is extremely solution-focused in its coaching, and this has been one of the major reasons for the huge success of the entire organization – worldwide – even in the midst of the current economic crisis.

“We have so much to offer in terms of various coaching options, right from the $39.95 book or DVD or ProfitCLUB (which meets twice a month) right through to monthly, fortnightly and weekly coaching sessions,” Hughes said. “It’s whatever will assist that business owner to move to the next level in their business as well as lots of positive encouragement along the way.”

ActionCOACH Business Coaches are bringing great results to business owners throughout the world through the company’s tested and proven systems, tools and strategies – even in the middle of the current recession.
