Purchase ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’ Tickets Under Code “NEXT” and Help Support Local Non-Profit, NextStep Recycling

On March 28 & 29 the 30th Anniversary Tour of the 1978 Tony Award Winning Best Musical, “Ain’t Misbehavin,” will be performing at the Hult Center in Eugene. With every ticket purchase, using the discount code “NEXT,” $1.00 will be donated to Eugene non-profit, NextStep Recycling.

Eugene, OR, March 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- NextStep is Willamette Valley’s largest electronics refurbisher/recycler of home and commercial electronic hardware.

Each $1.00 donation will help NextStep in its ongoing mission to provide technology and training to people who have barriers to employment and education, and to addressing the negative impact electronic waste has on our global environment.

NextStep Recycling has many technology grant programs that help place refurbished electronics into the hands of children in foster care, persons who experience disabilities, family members leaving domestic violent relationships, migrant worker family members, under-funded schools and many non-profit organizations in need of technology.

With the purchase of a discounted ticket at the low cost of $19.30, each $1.00 donated to NextStep Recycling will help in refurbishing a piece of technology and placing it in the hands of a disadvantaged Oregonian.

Executive Director of NextStep Recycling, Lorraine Kerwood, explained “This generous offer could not come at a better time for NextStep and our community. We are receiving more requests for computers from folks who have lost their jobs and want to apply for their unemployment benefits, from parents who can’t afford to buy computers for their kids to do homework, from college students who can’t afford a new computer for school. This challenging economy has hit our budget hard. Every dollar donated gets us one step closer to placing a working computer in the hands of our community members who need the tools the most”.

“Ain’t Misbehavin” stars 2003 American Idol winner, Rubben Studdard who is joined by a top-notch cast including American Idol alum, Frenchie Davis. The New York Times has hailed it “electrifying”. The re-make of the 1978 classic is packed with high energy music complete with an onstage band.

Enjoy a night out of live music, laughter, and all around fun while supporting NextStep Recycling at the same time.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.hultcenter.org with discount code “NEXT.”

Founded in 2002, NextStep is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our environment, providing technology to our most vulnerable populations, and offering job and social skills training to our community members.
