Cassbeth Releases a New Version of the Specification Analysis Tool (SAT) Because of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Cherry Hill, NJ, March 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Cassbeth releases a new version of the Specification Analysis Tool (SAT). This release introduces a new feature that allows a user to mine requirement objects bound by various categories in their specifications. This new feature is a direct result of using the related product General Document Analysis (GDA) tool for an analysis of President Obamas' American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

SAT was introduced in 2006 and in 2007 NASA used it for a study to determine the effectiveness of tool automation to review specification text - www.nasa.gov. SAT was selected by NASA IVV from several other tools for the study because of its accuracy in identifying issues, especially those consistent with manual analysis, and the potential ability to decrease analysis time. SAT can be found at www.cassbeth.com.

In the free version of SAT the user is presented with a small book image and link to buy a book without disrupting normal tool operations. It is just in the peripheral field of view. The users are still able to purchase the software and can use a different key to suppress the small image and link of the book. The book Sustainable Development Possible with Creative System Engineering is available from Amazon and other destinations. www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN/0615216307

The author has stated "In my book I talk about how innovation and creativity are shutting down in our major institutions. People no longer try things even if they know it will help them and their peers. I hope people will take the time to download this software and seriously consider both the software and the book in their future work."
