Dew Yoga Celebrates Its 1st Birthday with Free Yoga and Bazaar, Sunday March 15, 2009

Stamford, CT, March 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dew Yoga Studio celebrates its first year in community and the gifts are for the public. The celebration day will offer four Yoga classes, with four different teachers, a Yoga Fitness workout class and a guided meditation, all of which are free. In an adjoining room, guests are invited to browse the 'Yogi's Bazaar', a melting pot of art, artisans, crafts people, food and wellness providers with their wares on display for sale and sampling.

Free classes begin at 9:30am with Vigorous Vinyasa led by Connie Adamcio and continue with an 11:30am Breathe and Flow class led by Jen Irwin, a 1:30pm Twist and Open with Elysa DeMartini, a 3:00pm Gentle with Ann Russell, a 4:30pm Yoga Fitness Workout with Maria Garcia (1hr. class) and the day concludes with a Guided Meditation with Carlo Codato (30 min.). Classes are open to all. Mats are available, students should arrive 10 minutes before class time.

The "Yogi's Bazaar" will be open in an adjacent room from 11:00am - 4:00pm to include; Prasada Spirit Jewelry by Allison Gemmel, Meditative Landscapes and Water Scenes Photography by Tyler Buckley, Meditative Landscape Paintings by Tim Eaton, Jewelry and Art by Anik, Blown Glass Arts by Bruce, Custom Drapery Designs/C&C Jewelry Designs by Constance Eng, Jewelery & Pottery by Joanna Soulios, Custom Cards by Michelle, Henna Tattoos by Svetlana, Nutrition Snacks & Drinks from Tommy K, Cookies and Sweets by Donna. Reflexology appointments with Irina Breslav are being booked in advance. Chair massages will be offered by Melanie Weeks and Pia Valkonen of Jyoti Wellness.

Dew Yoga is the community oriented partnership of Jen Irwin, R.Y.T. and Elysa DeMartini R.Y.T., both certified Kripalu Yoga instructors who have been teaching Yoga in the community at studios, school and fitness centers for many years. The Dew Yoga mission is to build community through Yoga practice and instruction, wellness, fitness and meditation. Dew Yoga is committed to service and charity in Stamford and beyond.
