NAFA's Expo Hall is Expanding Every Week

Despite a tough economy, NAFA's Institute & Expo is proving a must event for exhibitors seeking to reach fleet managers.

Princeton, NJ, March 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With just about a month to go before NAFA's 2009 Institute and Expo opens in New Orleans, the Expo Hall continues to grow every week and is now near full capacity. Nearly two hundred companies have already registered to exhibit – many with larger booths than in past years – and both expo revenue and total square footage is up from last year's numbers. The event, which runs April 25-28 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, promises to be one of NAFA's best.

Despite difficult economic times, NAFA's Institute & Expo is once again proving to be one of the most sought after showcases for companies seeking to put their products and services in front of thousands of fleet managers from across North America. NAFA's I&E attendees represent a dynamic group of industry decision-makers that companies rarely get the opportunity to meet in a one on one situation. These fleet managers manage fleets for corporations, organizations, and public agencies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, manufacturing and service organizations to governments and public services, financial institutions, insurance companies, and non-profit organizations.

Manufacturers such as American Honda Motor Company, Audi of America, Ford Motor Company, General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations, Harley Davidson Motor Company, Mazda North American Operations, Mercedes-Benz Fleet Operations, Subaru of America/Canada, and Toyota Fleet will all be exhibiting this year while Chrysler remains a major sponsor. Car care and service centers such as Firestone Complete Fleet Care, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Jiffy Lube International, Meineke Car Care Centers, Michelin North America, NAPA Auto Parts, Pep Boys, and Valvoline Instant Oil Change are also among the familiar names with booths. Some of the larger service providers on the floor will be Reading Fleet Services, Insurance Auto Auctions, Flexible Marketing, Magna-SVE Commercial Services, Wright Express, ARI, Adrian Steel, AmeriFleet, Comdata, and GE Capital. NAFA hired NaylorCMG to manage exhibit sales this year and the results have been impressive. While many expos have been forced to cancel or downsize, NAFA's Expo is actually larger this year than last -- both in terms of the number of exhibitors and the total square footage of exhibit space sold. In addition, NAFA has kept a full program of educational sessions and speakers in place as in years past. The combination is leading many to call this year's I&E the fleet event of the year.

"The I&E continues to be a terrific bargain, considering the sheer volume of education available over the course of four days, the networking and business opportunities, the value of the expo experience, and the food and beverage included in the registration fee," said NAFA's Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE.
