SIRS, Inc., Evansville ARC, Inc., and GCARC Selects the SyberWorks Web-Based Learning Management System

Waltham, MA, July 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- SyberWorks, a leader in custom e-Learning Solutions and the Learning Management System industry, announced today that they were selected by Southern Indiana Resource Solutions, Inc. (SIRS), a leading advocacy group for individuals with disabilities.

David Gilmour, Network Administrator for Evansville ARC states, “This project is funded by a grant from the ALCOA Foundation and the Warrick County Community Foundation. Evansville ARC, Gibson County Area Rehabilitation Centers, and SIRS all have similar missions, and are partnering to use the SyberWorks web-based Learning Management System to provide training to their employees.”

Gilmour says, “Each of these organizations has limited resources for training their employees. As you can probably imagine, it would be very difficult to get groups of workers together in a traditional classroom setting from three different organizations in an eight county area. A web-based Learning Management System shared between them seemed to be the perfect solution to keep their employees updated and informed on the latest information, techniques, and policies regarding working with individuals with disabilities.”

Gilmour continues, “We looked at three different e-Learning solutions and found the SyberWorks web-based Learning Management System offered the greatest functionality for our money. We needed a system that could effectively manage a large library of online courses. The team at SyberWorks is great to work with at every level of the organization from sales to training and support. The software itself was easy to set up. I had the system loaded and set up on our systems in a half hour. The software documentation was excellent and I was able to find out what I needed immediately.”

Dave Boggs, CEO of SyberWorks, states, “We are delighted to be working with this group of organizations. It’s always exciting to us to see leading non-profit groups using the SyberWorks Web-Based Learning Management System’s technology to further the community at large.”
