Fullerton, CA, March 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Likida Stainless Steel Water Bottles has sponsored the Suburban Warrior Challenge, an extreme conditioning fitness competition happening on March 28, 2009 in Fullerton, California. MBody Strength hosts the Suburban Warrior Challenge monthly to promote unconventional training methods like weighted hiking and kettlebell training.

“We’re very excited that Likida has decided to sponsor the Suburban Warrior Challenge,” stated Marcus Martinez, MBody Strength’s founder and member. “They make the most innovative water bottle available, and I use it everyday.”

Likida Stainless Steel Water Bottles feature a unique, easy-clean feature: they unscrew in the middle. This feature allows their stainless steel water bottles to be easily cleaned, helping people avoid a build-up of dangerous bacteria and fungus, while also avoiding the chemical hazards of plastic water bottles. The feature also allows people to put in ice cubes and supplements much easier than in conventional stainless steel water bottles.

Likida will be supplying their innovative water bottles to participants of the Suburban Warrior Challenge for free. Each participant will receive a stainless steel water bottle prior to starting the competition. Each water bottle is normally sold for $18 to $20.

The Suburban Warrior Challenge competition will be held in Fullerton, California, located in North Orange County. Competitors will do a 2.8-mile hike along the Panorama Trail, starting and ending at the Summit House on the corner of Bastanchury and State College. Men will carry a 60lb pack and an 18lb kettlebell. Women will carry a 25lb pack and a 9lb kettlebell.

At the mid-point of the trail, competitors will need to complete 100 kettlebell snatches, men with a 53lb kettlebell and women with an 18lb kettlebell. Near the end of the trail, they will need to complete 100 clean and presses with the same weight before sprinting to the finish line.

MBody Strength has recently added the Likida Stainless Steel Water Bottle to their product line. They sell the stainless steel water bottles in all three finishes, including Lime Green, Metallic Black, and Stainless Steel. The water bottles are currently on sale for $17.99.

“We hope that the participants will enjoy receiving a free Likida Stainless Steel Water Bottle,” said Marcus Martinez. “If you think you’re tough, come compete and you’ll find out if you really are.”
