Easter is Only a Hop, Skip and a Jump Away at thecentre:mk Shopping Centre

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, March 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- From 31 March - 19 April regional shopping destination thecentre:mk is going hopping mad with a series of engaging Easter Activities to cover the school holidays. Slides, swings, bungee jumps, Easter Egg Hunts, Easter card and bonnet workshops will all be hosted in Middleton Hall throughout the Easter period.

From 31 March – 19 April there will be a Giant slide, bungee jump, swing boats and an autodrome all in Middleton Hall. Supporting these throughout Easter there will be a series of smaller events designed to entertain young and old alike. Good Friday see’s an Easter card workshop from 10.30am – 3.30pm whilst on Easter Saturday there will be an Easter bonnet workshop from 10.30am – 3.30pm.

Also, on Easter Saturday there will be a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association where Sonic the Hedgehog will be taking time out from his London Marathon training so entrants can have their picture taken with him. There will also be a colouring competition and Easter anagrams and word search plus a Free draw for Easter goodies.

Jackie Tracey, Events Manager at thecentre:mk commented on the schedule of activities; “This year our Easter schedule is jam packed with things to see and do throughout thecentre:mk. The Easter Egg Hunt will involve participants finding pictures in retailers all around the centre and over one mile of walkways you can burn off all the chocolate you consume!”
