e.Republic Executive Vice President Named Business Hall of Fame Laureate

Sacramento, CA, March 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- e.Republic Executive Vice President, Cathilea Robinett, has been named a Greater Sacramento Area Business Hall of Fame Laureate. Robinett runs e.Republic’s Center for Digital Government, a national research and advisory institute on information technology policies and best practices in state and local government.

The Business Hall of Fame honors prominent business leaders who’ve made extraordinary contributions to the Greater Sacramento Area, earned the respect of the local community and called attention to the Free Enterprise System and its value to citizens and the community. The Laureates are nominated and ultimately chosen by an Independent Selection Committee. Committee members represent a wide range of economic interests of the Greater Sacramento Area.

Robinett will receive her award, along with five other Laureates, at the 5th Annual Greater Sacramento Area Business Hall of Fame held on May 7, 2009 in Sacramento.

Proceeds raised from the event will help fund the business and economic education of students in the Greater Sacramento Area through programs offered by Junior Achievement of Sacramento, whose purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Since its inception in 1961, JA has served over 250,000 students through volunteers who provide economic education programs to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade classrooms.
