Eugene F. Ferraro Receives Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award

Littleton, CO, March 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Eugene F. Ferraro, CPP, CFE, PC, CEO and Founder of Business Controls, Inc. was awarded the Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award at the 2009 NCISS Annual Conference in San Diego, CA.

The National Council of Investigation and Security Services, Inc, (NCISS) is an association of professional private investigators and security service providers doing business in the United States and elsewhere. Founded in 1972, the NCISS mission focuses on training, education and advocacy on behalf of the private sector security and investigative industries.

The Wayne J. Wunder Memorial Award is given annually in memory of the late Wayne J. Wunder, security pioneer and founder of Continental Secret Service in Toledo, OH. The award recognizes exceptional contributions by members of NCISS who characteristically are not in the forefront in terms of recognition. The inscription on the award reads “For Dedication, Leadership, and Distinguished Service to the Private Investigation and Security Professions.”

Mr. Ferraro has been a corporate investigator for over 26 years. Specializing in the investigation and prevention of workplace violence, fraud, harassment, discrimination, substance abuse, and misconduct in the workplace, he has conducted thousands of investigations for employers (public and private) throughout the United States and elsewhere.

Mr. Ferraro frequently lectures on the topics of workplace investigations, applicant screening and employee misconduct prevention and intervention. He is also the author of eight books on investigatory techniques, and his most recent work, Investigations in the Workplace, is used as a textbook at universities across the nation. Mr. Ferraro has competently testified in over 300 criminal and civil matters. His expertise has been accepted by state courts and arbitrators around the country.
