Wiley College Expands Online Education Horizons

Wiley College is launching a new online initiative slated to begin this summer.

Marshall, TX, April 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- One of the oldest historically black colleges west of the Mississippi is making new progress in the realm of online education. Wiley College, in partnership with The Learning House, Inc., is launching a new online initiative with its already established Professional Studies Program for adults, which is slated to begin this summer.

Learning House is helping Wiley College add web assist options to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree in Organizational Management. Students enrolled in the BBA degree program will be able to utilize Moodle, the web-based learning management system, to access course material, assignments, exams and chat sessions while enrolled in courses.

By using the Moodle system, on-campus students in the BBA program will connect with many of the conveniences that come along with taking an online course, including around-the-clock access to important course information and materials. Students enrolled in the BBA program should find the new online initiative as a refreshing approach to traditional coursework and find ease within its abilities to foster a remarkable learning environment.

Wiley College, along with the Learning House, believes this new online initiative will shine new light on the BBA program in hopes of attracting more students to the school.
