Baskets-n-Beyond of Dumont NJ seals deal with Author Susan McCorkindale to create a customized gift basket for Susan's book Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl.

Ms Petrillo & Ms McCorkindale went to Ridgefield Memorial High School together and have not spoken to each other in over 25 years. A few months ago they reconnected on the popular social website Facebook. They came up with the idea of promoting Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl in gift baskets.

Ms Petrillo and Ms McCorkindale have also teamed up for a book signing/fundraiser on April 7, 2009 at Smith Brother's Restaurant in Ridgewood. In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a portion of all the evening's book sales, as well as sales of Counterfeit Farm Girl gift baskets designed by Baskets-n-Beyond, will be donated to Children's Aid and Family Services of Paramus NJ. Ms Petrillo & Ms McCorkindale are asking all attendees to bring an item-such as diapers, baby food, baby clothes or toys to donate to Children's Aid and Family Services. Please join them from 6pm-9pm for some laughs and to help the children. There will be a raffle and musicial guest is Mark Nelson Preston who wrote a song for the evening called "Every Child Deserves a Chance". Music starts at 9pm.
