UXAlliance Enters Fifth Year of Service to Global Customers; Experiences Strong Growth in Service Demand Despite Weak Global Economy

The UXalliance entered its fifth year in March and reported that in sharp contrast to the global economic crisis, partners of the alliance experienced strong growth in business activity and revenues.

Chicago, IL, April 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The UXalliance (www.UXalliance.com) – the global leader in user research and user experience – entered its fifth year this March. In its biannual meeting in Madrid this past week, UXalliance partners discussed the impact of the global economy on user research. In sharp contrast to the global economic crisis, almost all of the partners reported strong growth in business activity and revenues. Furthermore, the partners discussed new products and services that will further enhance the service offerings of the member partners. The strongest markets remain in mobile communications and services, e-commerce, and an increase in demand in healthcare. Based on first quarter demand and historical patterns, the UXalliance believes that 2Q activity will remain very strong.

Frederic Gaillard, managing director of Axance (www.axance.com) and one of the founding Partners of the UXalliance, states, “The UXalliance is stronger than ever covering key markets with high-quality service for our customers. By meeting face to face we grow stronger and learn to work better together. Efficiency and quality are a top priority of UXalliance partners and our continued bi-annual meetings ensure all partners offer best in class service. ” The next meeting will be in Bonn, Germany in September coinciding with MobileHCI 2009. UXalliance partners will be speaking on a panel to discuss the ‘touch’ versus ‘non-touch’ debate in mobile devices.

The UXa has provided outstanding service to its global customers since 2005 when the five founding partners formed the core of the UXalliance in Barcelona. The UXalliance currently has fifteen partners, almost 250 user researchers, and over 50 user testing labs. As such, the UXalliance is the largest user research network; we speak more than 30 languages and cover almost every continent.
