SayItAloud.com is Searching for a Partner

SayItAloud is in need of help with some major unexpected growing pains.

Sacramento, CA, April 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- www.SayItAloud.com officially launched their article based website on March 1, 2009 and quickly grew in Alexa by over 18,000,000 to be one of the top 100,000 websites globally.

Unfortunately, that growth came with a price.

SayItAloud is an article based website where writers can submit original content and, if picked up by sponsors, earn up to half of the money generated for their efforts.

Chief Marketing Officer, Joseph Zeleny, expected nominal growth and instead was inundated. "Honestly, I was expecting 100 writers by launch submitting an article a month and a slow and steady growth through Alexa that my staff could handle and grow into."

Instead, over 700 writers, thousands of articles, and an unprecedented growth nearly broke Zeleny, who was already working over 100 hours a week. "My staff was expecting to have to find sponsors for 9 to 10 spots a day. Instead up to 150 spots a day were rolling in. So even though they were filling those 8 to 10 spots, that meant upwards of 140 spots were going unanswered. I worked my tail off and the drudge took it's toll."

By "Toll" Joseph refers to the loss of two employees who had been with SIA, SayItAloud's parent company, for some time.

Zeleny called on a focus group of people who were chosen from his writers on the SayItAloud.com website for ideas and through the brainstorming put an affiliate program in place that would allow writers to get more banners and more advertisers while they were waiting to be picked up by a sponsor.

But reality sunk in with Joseph that meant he was going to have to make some serious changes if he didn't want SayItAloud and the hundreds of writers who submit articles weekly to suffer.

So SayItAloud.com is actively looking for a partner, and Zeleny is giving half the profits of the increasingly popular site to the company that can manage the advertising side of the company while SIA focuses in on marketing the popularity of the site.

"Bottom line is, half of a winning program is a better choice than all of a losing one."

We'll keep you updated on the progress as it happens.
