Solar Velocity Named One of Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year for 7th Consecutive Year

Cobb County businesses were nominated in the early months of this year, and an independent panel of judges evaluated the nominees based on criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. After carefully weighing the companies’ staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standings, innovative products and services, responses to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophies, the panel selected the 25 businesses that most embodied the Cobb Chamber’s commitment to strengthening the economy and promoting the community.
