LicenZing is Ready to Make a Deal; Are You?

LicenZing LLC helps build brands through marketing and licensing and is hiring interns from all over the country to get the job done.

San Francisco, CA, October 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- In the highly competitive work world today, the value of an internship has skyrocketed. From business schools to future careers, internships pave the way to success by offering valuable skills and experience in a new and more effective way than in the classroom. In fact, many universities now require internships as part of their curriculum. Also, companies frequently look for experience as a necessary prerequisite during the hiring process, even at an entry-level position. In other words, internships are a test drive; while they often are a stepping stone to future paths, they also teach interns what careers don’t work for them, as well as opening up opportunities not previously considered.

Headquartered in suburban San Francisco, LicenZing LLC offers one of the most enterprising internship opportunities in the Bay Area. Rather than fetching coffee or making photocopies, interns immediately begin working on accounts from new ventures to well-established multi-million dollar companies.

Interns are able to work on hot junior fashion brands like Zinc ®, Sweet Vibes® and Self Esteem® as well as fun guys brands such as Chucho®, YL® and USUK®. Projects range from extending the brands into new categories such as footwear, eyewear or swimwear to helping with seasonal photo shoots, creative ad design and media buys. Dominican University communications graduate, Kat Ryan, began as an intern last year and is currently Project Manager for the boutique agency. “Within the first few weeks on the job, I was writing a banner ad for the Seventeen Magazine website,” explained Kat. “You get to be involved in so many things from writing press releases, creating press kits to sending samples out to editors,” Kat adds.

“I am really proud and happy of what we are doing at LicenZing,” states Molly Robbins, President of LicenZing. “I started this company so that I would have a range of clients and projects to work with; I like building things as well as never having a dull day. Working with interns allows me to have new, fresh ideas and energy while it provides a great platform for young talent to learn real business skills. It is a win/ win for all of us.”

LicenZing LLC, has quickly and quietly become THE boutique shop for lifestyle brand building through marketing and licensing. LicenZing works with a select range of clients in areas such as fashion, latin lifestyle, music, fitness, home and technology. The company provides a range of brand building services from strategic planning, creative services, PR, media buying, merchandising and licensing.
